Actually they are NOT ARB's.... and they disengage above 10MPH, however, it is extremely easy to stop that function, and let them be engaged at all speeds. Most vehicles sold in the US other than like Unimogs -- that actually come with rear lockers (taco's, some gm, et cetera) have them set to disengage at specific speeds - because too many people are too dumb to realize it makes turning different.
I have to ask though... why did you stop driving the rubicon up right there? Was it really raising a tire? It seems like in 4 lo with the lockers engaged it could go quite higher than it is.
Also keep in mind that the Rubicon is NOT just a TJ with lockers... It also has a different transfer case, differently geared (the transfer case), D44's front and rear, rather than the D30/D44 or D30/D35c combination, and a few other goodies here and there.
Overpriced, yes... but if I could take one for free and had the choice of that or a tracker, i'd take the rubi in a heartbeat.
You also say that they retail for xxx and you got your tracker for xxx... Well, your tracker doesn't RETAIL for that much either... that --- and they did get some added goodies like the lockers and low t-case and d44's...
Not trying to diss on suzuki, but some of the rubicon bashing i hear on different boards seems to be by people who don't know crap about them.
