Driver's Door adjustment on 92 4dr sidekick
« on: February 09, 2012, 08:35:01 AM »
Is there any way to adjust the alignment of the driver's door?  When I open it the door goes down about an inch so when I close it I have to use a little more pull to get it back up.  The hinge bolts seemed tight when I tried to retighten them.  Is the hinge pulling away from the vehicle at this point?  Is it common?  Any suggestions on a direction to go in?

My next step is to take the fender off to get a really good look at it.

 Any suggestions are appreciated      Thanks

Mine did this and the bolts were pulling through the sheet metal. we had to weld in some support material and new anchor nuts.
