Couple of HP, faster throttle response.  But on these things a 5hp gain is almost 10%.  So you will notice it really quick.  :)

just put a 40 mm on my 1.3  fab. up my intake adaptor myself.  don't pay for a 300 dollar kit.  its easy with a wire welder.  improved the low end midrange.  I feel I lost a little power on the top end.  but running wise  huge improvement over a weber.

lost fuel millage dropped to 18 mpg.  from 20   just my thoughts.

I know this was posted quite a while ago, but didn't want to start a new post just to add to the forum... basically I just ordered the 44mm kit from Lowrange...(yes I know with some skill/fab work it'd be easy to do myself, but i don't have the necessary equipment or training to pull that off) ... It doesn't seem like many people have used this setup though, I should have done more research before, but what reasons are people not using this setup? More people opting for swaps rather than beefing up the 1.3? Any known issues w/ running this carb? Also, I dont know how active you still are on this forum wolf, but if you ended up w/ a carb swap, what did you go with?
