wana get this running for the summer but it has some idling issues... starts up every time, but after its warmed up you have to keep on the throttle or else it'll stall... idles around 1700 but what from I've read about these hitcachi carbs it could just need an adjustment. it has an aftermarket intake filter which isn't shown (add pics later) and a few other goodies... my main concern is the line rigged to the water bottle by the canister and 2 plugged lines which i think went to the original air intake but ill add later. It may have something to do with the vaccuum hose or the solenoid i really don't know. any advice would be greatly appreciated, not a mechanic here but am willing to do anything to get it on the road. will update with pics, lets get this thing going..

Looks nice, how much did you pay for it?   Hopefully the last owner didn't drive it around to much without the air cleaner.   Or did you take it off before snapping the pics?

call me crazy but the water bottle looks like it's got the return line from the fuel pump running to it.

bought it for 800 bucks, here are pics of the air filter and where the line from the fuel pump that the bottle is running too.. i also found that the pcv valve from the intake manifold which is suppose to be linked to the carb hat is plugged with a screw...

that is a vacume line.
  I have a webber carb on mine & dont use that port, nor do I have a hose hooked to it.

& from all the reading Ive done & people Ive talked to, The stock carbs are totle crap!  Get a webber or toyota corrola carb is all I hear.
