8v to 16v conversion

what would be needed to convert an 8v 94 tracker to a fit a 16v engine?

 A 16v engine, wiring harness, computer, all necessary sensors, air box, and instrument cluster (I think).
Hope that helps.
You might be better off looking into putting a 2.0 into your truck.

a 2.0  ??? NOW THAT IS WHATT COMES IN THE VITARA WITH  THE FRONT STEELE AXLE  ??? SHOULD SEARCH AROUND FOR WRECKED ONE FOR ENTIRE DRIVE TRAIN  ??? THEN COULD UPGRADE MOTOR ,FRONT  AXLE  & MAYBE EVEN TO AN AUTO TRANNY  ???

 It's not the Vitara that has the steel, it's the Grand Vitara 5 speed that does.
The auto tranny swap is WAAYYYY too much of a pain to do, even with putting the 2.0 in with it. Transmission tunnel, pedal assembly, etc. makes it a severe pain.

Are there any sites out there that outline, in great detail, with pictures, the entire process of swapping a 2.0L into a Trackick?
