I was out wheeling in my 88 samurai and I broke the mounts on my transfer-case. I have the creeper gear setup in there and I know that beats on the mounts more. I wanna replace them but don't want it to happen again. Whats a good choice for new ones? I saw some aluminum ones or poly but I don't know whats best. I'd appreciate the help thanks!

The snatch is nice because it allows easier removal of the t-case then some of the alternatives.  If you don't want a skid pan just get some engine mounts from a Polaris:

I'm not a huge fan of the metal ones, as they tend to transfer a lot of noise into the frame and make your vehicle sing.  Make sure you weld a piece of angle inside the long bar or it will bend, and use lock tight on your mounting bolts or they will loosen up over time and you can break your t-case housing.

You really need a cradle mount setup if you go beyond a 5:1 t-case reduction.

I run the DIY bucket kit that rockrat 4x4 sells which use to be known as a Forest Bucket. The stock arms are beefed up and the bucket piece ties the two arms together. I believe it was the first cradle system available.

I prefer the stock rubber mounts as they act as a fuse for the drivetrain. They are much easier to replace on the trail vs bent frame mounts or a cracked t-case. The hard mounts also transmit a lot of vibration to the vehicle.

Ya I was looking into the cradle setups. Maybe one with a skid plate.

Actually they don't call it a snatch, that is my product name for it. They call it  something else and we will be getting them off the jig here real soon. All the parts are made (that we make) and all the laser cut and bent pcs should be available this week. If you ordered bare those go out out first. Powdercoated does add time to the delivery schedule. You will love it. Almost at 800 sold.
