looking at getting a red 88 ( round vents)  Its far away and I dont have the color code.   I have read somewhere that there was a second red introduced in that year but I am not sure if it was for the 88.5 and up or the whole year.

I like the brick red but Im not that crazy about the later one being that its too bright.

Anybody have pics of each to compare?  I would surely appreciate it

I think the red color (as well as others) changed for the 90 model year.  I actually like the later red better myself, but to each his own.

Forgive me for asking - but twenty four years later, does it really make a difference - won't that red be pretty faded by now?
