 I could use some quick help, I have a line on a 1997 4 door sidekick auto 4x4. With manual hubs roll down windows no sunroof. I have wanting to do an auto 4 door ever since I parted with my tin top.

My research shows that the trans mission is a Toyota trans can anyone confirm that?
Also as I was reading it seems that in 1997 it's no longer a G series motor my tin top was a FI G16 and I realize that they changed to the g16A with the 12 valve but I know nothing about the J18 motor.

Any hints tips or tricks are greatly appreciated.

The Sport model has 1.8 engine, the trans will be an Aisin Warner, Toyota also used an AW but there will be differences.
