Will my front axles chew with a 2.5" lift

Good Day Mates

First time and recent Suzuki driver here, of a 2006 XL-7 4wd.

Will there be any long-term issues with stock front axles and CV joints at 120k miles with the Rocky Road plus OME lift kit which yields approximately 2.5 inches in the front?

The OME suspension provides about an inch (25mm) to an inch and a half of suspension lift by itself.  So... the Rocky Road spring spacer is providing the additional inch of lift?  So their spring spacer is about 3/4" thick.

The only issue that comes to mind is you may over extend your CV angle... as in one front wheel drops into a hole or depression and hyper extends the axle end downward excessively.  Especially if you are also turning your vehicle at the same time.

The general rule of thumb is no more than a two inch (50mm) suspension lift... without diff drop brackets.  If you were simply putting this lift on your GV and were just driving it on the hard ball, maybe not too big of an issue.  However, if you plan on trail driving your GV ( and I'm thinking you are) then I would also invest in a set of front diff drop brackets, which simply lower your front axles assembly an inch which there-by reduces the severity of the CV angle and will extend the service life of your CV axles.

The diff drop brackets return more of the CV axles proper range of movement (both up and down).
