Those kinds of kits were really big here in Japan a few year ago.  I have one on my truck, but I'm not sure if it makes any difference (I put it on right after getting the truck).  I don't think that it increases Hp, but my friend said that it does help the electrical stuff like the power windows.

even though it may not add hp a good grounding kit is always a good thing to have bad grounds can cause engine hesitation and bad idle

Samurais are notorious for having grounding problems.  But it isn't going to make one iota of difference in your horsepower...  ::)
