The bent arms were offered up as proof/exchange, but it didn't seem to matter. I understand they have certain policies they have to follow, but there should be exceptions to the rule.
He ended up trying to do a SAS on his tracker instead.
They have a rather interesting stand on the Sport theory as well. Thye think that the sports have a totally different suspension front and rear than the regular Sidekick. The only difference with the suspension is the lower control arms on the front are cast an a little longer than the kicks. They won't even deal with you if you have a sport. The only diff with the rear is the rear axle itself is that it is a little over an inch and a half wider on each side because of the ABS sensors are in each wheel. The arms are exactly the same on the rear.
C'mon people, make some different lower front a-arms for the sport! It's not that big of a deal for you to do!
Since the failed arm replacement ordeal, I have started to deal directly with Steve, he is a really good guy, but he really needs to get better people on the phones!
Also, as far as the original post that started this thread, Suzuki never made upper control arms for the kicks on the front.

I wonder if you could use the a arms for the 3" kit as part of the 2" lift kit to suit the sidekick sport. There’s got to be a market; a lot of these go back to 97 and now is the time people are looking at mods.

I had a friend a couple of years ago wreck his tracker with the Calmini 3" and I called Calmini to get replacement front arms because they got damaged, they absolutely would not sell the arms separately! He had to buy a new kit!!

Why did you call?  It should have been the original purchaser.  If you didn't buy it, yet want help, I could understand a cold shoulder.

well thats cool. I thought about the arm thing and it's not that big of a deal 8) My stock arms do the job just fine. If i had bigger lower arms id break other things that i cant aford. I guese i made the right choice im on the road more than off :P By the way my original post was "calmini makes heavy dutie upper control arms for the [shadow=red,left,300]NISSIN HARD BODY [/shadow]why not trackers?"see

People are just messen with ya.  If you take your first post gramaticly, it reads like you wished they made upper control arms for the Tracker.  :P
