I have a 1995 Geo Tracker 4wd. w/60,000 miles.  It has worked flawlessly until now.  I was deer hunting, locked the hubs engaged 4wd. and it didn't engage. Checked out the driveshaft to see if it would turn with the hubs locked, it didn't .  Put the transfer case in neutral that worked, looked under the car to see if anything was obvious but that was negative.  Is there something else that I could check, is there a vacuum or fuse etc that might have something to do with this.
I need help any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had the same problem with my 95' and it turned out the hub wasn't holding the water out. The grease turned to mud and the spring that pushes the shaft was just stuck. Take the hub off and see if its muddy looking and regrease, seal and back together.
Thats what happened on mine, Later I just replaced them with Milemarker Hubs. Wished I kept the old ones for spares though.

That's good advice Badger, I should check my hubs out too as the snowy season is going to happen anytime now for me.

Badger is probably right but to make sur the t-case is working, put it in 4x4 and see if you can turn the front drive shaft while the transmission is in gear with engine off. If you cannot turn the shaft then you know everthing is ok from there back.

Thanks for the info, I need put the t-case in 4wd and and the trans in gear and the front shaft wouldn't turn. You might be right about the hubs, I recently was in Maine and was in some very deep water.
Where can I get a diagram of the front hubs so I can check them out and or replace them correctly?

The hubs are not hard to take apart and clean,
just make sure you lay out the parts in the direction
they go in, I don't remember, as it's been years since
I had to take mine apart, but just clean them, use a
wire brush on the rust, and use a good grease, like
Mobil 1 to lube em up, and put them on.
