Front axle centerline alignment
« on: November 30, 2003, 11:22:11 AM »
While I had the front wheel off my XL-7, I noticed the center of the axle hub was not aligned with the output of the differential housing. From underneath the driver's side, it's about 1.5"-2" off centerline of the axle housing. I've got to wonder why? I wonder if Calmini's lift corrects this at all? I've read the lift does move the front tire forward, but then wouldn't the axle shaft get longer (may interfere with the lockout?).

Its not enough angle to need to move it. I wouldnt worry about it.
