Seco clutches ?
« on: April 26, 2005, 08:43:17 AM »
Anyone use Seco clutches? Pressure plates, etc?  They seem pretty cheap & claim to be "Suzuki OEM".  This is for  a strictly stock setup.  Any opinions from personal experience appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg

Well, oddly, even though I have a Centerforce clutch, I don't know that I actually "need" anything beefier than stock.  BUT - that's probably because I have the Calmini 4.24:1 transfercase gear set - as low as I am geared, I could probably get along fine, on 50 HP - maybe even 25 HP.  Obviously, not at highway speeds, but when it comes to crawling on the rocks, gearing and lockers make everything else look simple!

I GOT A CENTERFORCE ALSO. THERE WORTH IT IF YOU EVER SAW MY WIFE ON A CLUTCH A STOCK ONE WOULDN'T LAST 100 MILES IN TOWN WITH HER DRIVING. WHEN I PUT THE 1600 IN LAST YEAR I LOOKED LIKE NEW STILL, NOT EVEN ANY HEAT CHECKS ON IT . BESIDES OFFROAD IS HELL ON THEM SOMETIMES
