i wanna make a 4 inch body lift for a bit more height then the calmini?

4 inches is way to high for a body lift, i would stick with the three inch lift, than work into some susoension!

8 square tubes of 4x3x3.  6 bolts 2"x1/2 grade 8, 2 bolts 2.5"x1/2 grade 8.  16 big washers and 8 lock washers.

Drill holes top/bottom middle of the 4" square tubes.

You will need extensions for your shifters.  We found out that if you have an extra tire iron, its the perfect size for this.

You need 2" diameter 3-4" long tube for your gas extension.  

You have a few things to unclip here/there(brakes, lines in engine) etc.  And then Duct tape your air filter back on

I never bothered mounting bumpers back on, I don't feel like making brackers.

Break off the flimsy end of your bumpers or they rub on 31's.

I normally extend my steering by taking the slack further up te steering, no clue what its called but works for me/my buddies truck no problem.  We both have 4"(and 1/4) of list.  The 1/4 is because i put back the stock rubbers so they sit on top of the 4" tubes.

For your shifter, you can put the bottom boot back on upside down.  We had to make something for the transfer case(out of a rain coat lol) because the stock boot does not permit shifting or it would pop out of 4wd low.

No complaints here yet, I can do quite a bit for the price of the lift

actually the calmini body lift is not very well made as far as i am consered. get a peice of square tubing 3 1/2" OD (outside diameter) atleast 3/16 wall thickness. cut it in 6  3" long pieces and i used hocky pucks for the front body mount behind the bumper. either bolt or weld (welding will make it much stronger) the blocks to the frame. put the top rubber mount on top of the bock and the bottom in the middle of the block and bolt it back down. extend ur filler and vent tube on your fuel tank. axtend both shifters if it standard and only the transfercase if it is auto. the auto is a cable shift tranny u probly want have to do anything. don't forget to check and clear blake lines, electrical connections, fuel tank filler and vent hoses and anything else that might be ripped apart as you lift it. remember this if u have a/c and u want to keep it u must adress the a/c lines because they will eventually break because of the angels. i curently run a 4 1/2" body lift with no a/c. the reason u use 3 1/2" blocks is because when u put the top rubber mount on top the block it will creat 1/2" of lift because of the way it is reecesed into the frame mount. the shifters will be the hardest part and will require welding.

3x3x4 is a good way to do this.

3x3x3 is good too, and then get some additional body bushings from any of your local jeep shops and stack them on top of the block to lift it another inch to space the body up as high as you want.  Bolt it all together.

And of course, take care of the rest of the stuff, electrical, brake lines, shifters, breathers, etc.

I've seen guys use the plastic honey-comb boat trailer rollers.  You just cut them to length and from what I hear..they're super strong.

You need 2" diameter 3-4" long tube for your gas extension.

this would be a really good time to raise your gas tank, then you dont have to worry about this tube, move your tank up the same amount as the body lift, and your departure angle will be much better too.
