Shrockworks bumper on my 4-dr (Pics)
« on: September 08, 2005, 02:34:02 PM »
Got my Shrock works bumper in last Monday.

Painted it Wednesdy and finally getting around to the install today and tomorrow.

Still have a few holes to drill (4) total, and more pictures to take, But for now here is how it might look installed.

I'm working on install instructions too.

Bumper will definatly fit my 1994 4-dr.

I believe it will fit all the way up to 1998.

That's really sweet looking. Do you have a winch for on it yet? Do you think you'll have to trim the grille and steel behind the grille to fit the winch?
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...

No winch yet, Definatly need to trim the grill for the winch, But no biggie.  Just trim the lower lip at the current lines I believe.

I do not believe I'll need to trim any sheetmetal.

I have to remove the bumper and drill the holes thru the front frame (Extra attach points).

I tried to install the bumper with the brackets installed on it.  Need to remove and install the brackets on the truck first.   Hope to get to wrench more tomorrow.

Bumper will probally end up full time on my DD 2dr conv, But I promised Jim I'd fit test it on the 4-dr.

So far fit is well with only a slight adjustment to the lower edge of the front body mount bracket.

Bumper mount hits here:

But with a slight bend, it will slip right in place:

My Kick front end isn't prestine (Been bumped a few times) so fit may very.
