"Jap Crap" funny you should say that..... i got asked why i drive "Jap Crap" just the other day!!!

Not entirely sure about this next fact... correct me if im wrong.... but the Santana Factory in spain which produced the Samurais and the Santana.... was 50%owned by suzuki.... and im pretty sure i read somewhere.... that the same Santana factory made i high percentage of Land Rover Series 3s.... therefore.... Suzuki make land rovers!!!!!

Well, my "jap crap" Honda Prelude and CR-V kick a** for daily drivers.  Plus they're fast as hell and require little to no maintenance.  And I would choose my "jap crap" Samurai over my old Range Rover any day of the week.  Rovers are only neat when wheel them hard, but thats only a tiny percentage...  Theres a few here in Oregon that are awesome rigs, I've wheeled with them and they're hard core people. 
I've just always felt more comradery with the Suzuki people...

It's true what andy said, land rover drivers never smile at you or wave, maybe there just jelous they pay more for a slower, older, less reliable car.

I used to work in a Land Rover/Porshe dealership when I lived in San Diego, CA.  At any given time it seemed like 100 of their 130 spots had broken Rovers in them.  They were seriously falling apart from the stupidest of things.  Very capable vehicles when they ran and worked correctly, but most of the time they didn't seem to.  I only ever saw two that had been offroad and only one of those had received damage on the trail that they were fixing.
I drove a lot of the last generation Discoveries and they didn't impress me much.  Slow, bad mpg, not much for power, crappy ergonomics, and yeah, not reliable.

Its more of the drivers that i was thinking of making names for!
