After spending $30.00 to fill the samurai, I put 30lbs in my retreads. Bit like riding around on super balls, gets me few extra MPG around town.

What retreads are you running?  I have hi-tech retreads on my Tracker.  I think I have about 30 psi in them.  I actually haven't checked them since I put them on last June! :(

Dang, none of my Sidekicks (I still have number 4, and number 5), EVER liked being inflated above the factory specified 23 PSI.  If you over-inflate them, they are just SQUIRRELY on the mountain roads I drive every day.  I'll take the 28 mpg, and call it good.

Hi-Tech retreads. 31's. Had them for the past couple years. Samurai gets a bit around 19 at cushy 20-22 lbs.

At 30lbs its too bouncy for the road up to evans creek. Around town I notice the locker more than bounce.
