Any recommendations on a nice grill guard?
« on: October 25, 2005, 06:52:29 AM »
Im looking for a grill guard that covers the entire front (grill, bumper, lights)  And I would like a winch mounting spoting and maybe fog light spots.  Any recommendations for one?  I sorta like the calmini bumper with the winch spot but, $500 is a little too much for me.

have you seen the one buy shrockworks? don't know a price but I like it better than the calmini one. other than those two the only other option is ARB and they are $$$

The shrockworks one doesnt look too bad.  Any other recommendations on just grill guards?  Not entire bumpers?  One of them would work decently I think.

the problem with getting just a grille guard and wanting a winch is it ends up hanging WAY out there in front. If you get a proper bumper it tucks the winch in alot closer.

I hear the ARB bull bars are pretty good...  Nice and cheap too.

You will more likely spend more money on a
stock "brush guard" than a beefy winch bumper
with the guards on it.
