My freind and I are getting a old sammy for use ion the property that we hunt.We bought it for $60,I havnt seen it yet but my freind says it runs and it drives.What are the first things you guys would do to it.This is going to be a off road only truck so anything goes.I have some 235/75/15 tires that are realy aggresive and I thought that I would put those on it(will they fit?).other than that what should we do.I like the sidekick with the 44's but that is overkill for us.We are looking for cheap but effective.Thanks guys.

slap on the 235's and mini-spool the rear (or weld it) it should go just about anywhere then.

probably a good idea to change all fluids, perhaps a tuneup. Don't want a breakdown from something dumb out in the middle of nowhere.

dang no kidding and I thought I was getting a steal with $500
with 235's and locker or spool in the rear should be great fun.
I ran that way for about 6 months or was it less than that I can't really remember.

I got mine for $50   

Like mentioned above.....lock the rear and add the 235s

Then when the bug hits ya.......bigger tires...lift.....engine swap (love my VW diesel)
