what did you do for the ball joints? Because the ball joints on the sport are fixed to the lower arm

I used a set of ball joints from a 1.6L.  They fit too..

How did you get it to align correctly after you just put the springs in? The air ride sounds good but then on thats almost half the cost of my car, with tires i would have the same amount in my car as supension and tires. I like the way you car sits that is perfect. How is the ride now?

well after i put the springs in i took it to a local shop and had it aligned. the ride now compared to stock is like night and day much better handles like a small sports car

Now you're getting the idea!

Cost of my Kick:  Just under $3,000
Cost of my mods:  Over $10,000

Still WAY less than I would have paid for a J**p with similar capabilities!

don't heat the springs . if you want a cheap way out just remove the springs and cut off desired amount and then reinstall them .don't forget that 2 inches of spring will lower the vehicle almost twice that amount . the control arms will be more horizontal to the ground making more leverage on the suspension for a softer ride than stock even though the spring rate has been altered . take it to the alignment shop and you shouldn't have any problems .  ;)

I found a lowering kit from skunk2 that will just replace springs and then i'll  take it to a alignment shop and get it aligned. thank you for all the helpful advice

What will you do about the camber?  The alignment shop can fix the toe in and out, but there is no way to adjust the camber, or is it less of a concern when dropping a Kick?

Camber bolts will help eliminate any camber issues.

Yeah i spoke with les schawb and they said camber bolts since it not i huge change in geomerty of the suspension. The  front axle housing stays in the same place and it doesn't put any werid angle on the cv shafts. basicly like i think someone mentioned before the springs will only be 1 inch shorter then stock but will give a 2inch drop when compressed.

Looks good and the camber pins are the ticket. I put them in mine and it fixed the camber nicely ;D
