Anyone run a 245/70R16 on a GV? I am considering getting some BFG A/T's in that size. I have a two inch suspension lift. If there were some rub I wonder how much and if I could be solved with a wheel spacer / platic cutting etc.

ordered 4 BFG A/T 225/70-16 today, more expensive than bridgestone but i'm told that they last longer.

hopefully they make less noise then the bridgestone's on the blazer i tryed..

but that chevy are a bit noisy anyway ;D

i spoke to a guy here in Norway, he was selling 4 245/70R16 on rims (sold) :-\

he only had coil spacers from Rocky Road on the XL7, told me there was no rubbing at all ???

thanks beerman.. I'm torn about what tires to order. Either some 245/70R16 BFG AT's or some 255/65R16 General Grabber AT2's

245/70R16: 29.50 diameter and 9.64 width

255/65R16: 29.05 diameter and 10.03 width

I also wonder if it would be a problem running 255/65R16's on the GV's 6.5 inch wide wheel?

got a GPS today, my speedo is 6km too slow. think it will be closer on 225/70-16

i think 255 might be a little too wide on a 6,5" rim

rememder how Donald Duck's car looks like?? ;)

i run the bridgstone 694s in stock size on my gv and they are great, for stock size i made the best choice.

for size i ran 225/75/16 on my 2l vitara softtop, they were firestone firehawks, they are a great tire and cheap( no lift )

and a cheap fix for power loss is a set of extractors, made a didderence

What do you mean by extractors?

That's a 2006 post, I seriously doubt fordy1 is around to answer you - anyway, extractors are another name for what you probably know as "headers".
