I don't know about events but Cow Mountain by Ukiah is good.  Also I love USAL on the coast.  Bit hard to find but of so worth the trip and you can camp on the beach.  Although thats not the smartest thing this time of year.

Well there ususally a few rubicon runs every year.  I live near rubicon and fordyce.  I would be interested in putting a fordyce run together if people are interested.

Definitely interested in Fordyce... We, Zukiworld staff, have been working on a Rubicon ride for this summer but maybe doing Fordyce instead would be a good option? How well do you know the Fordyce trail?

I have always wanted to do the Rubicon, and I still do, but
a friend of mine says Rubicon isn't nothing compared to stuff
that we've been through, guess I got to give it a go  :D
