On Ack's wish list, I would change out the 12 ga. slugs for double 00/9 ball or 6 ball.
                          Same range, but it has the same effect as a machine gun in body damage in 1 shot!!

Point well taken!  the more damage to the brain, the greater chance of a terminating wound - or so the Zombie Killing Therory goes. 

According to The Zombie Survival Guide a .22 is a better choice for long term survival.  It will damage the brain and the amount of ammunition you can carry is much greater.  Since only head shots count a bullet designed to damage as much flesh as possible can be a negative.  What good is a chest shot if the target doesn't breath?  It also gives you a false sense of security which can lead to wasting ammo and panicked shots in some situations.

The book is a fun read.

Plus - I bet the FPS of big shotgun pellets at close range might do enough head-damage to get the job done.

However, I am the last person to believe when it comes to dispensing projectile weapon wisdom...

I'll save this site if my "Gun Toting" buddies want to go in on these.

In the fall a "Cheap" COOL target for the same effect;
                       After Halloween, pumpkins go real cheap, get smaller ones about head size.
                             go to the "Dollar Store" and get Lime Jello,
                                 Cut a small 2" hole in the top, pour in the "Made Jello" (Note it take about 2 big jello mixes each)
                                    DO NOT FREEZE, but put in frige or if cool enough leave out over night.
Blast Away, the green jello and pumpkin guts,......... great effects!!!
