Don't over do it. Have fun and do your thing. My Bro-in-law knows Brian, who had the Dodge in last years ride. There was a whole lot of things they didn't put in the vid or mag about the things he and his co-pilot did. He outshined them several times, without and mention of it. They seem to not mention what might take away from their perspective. Last year they spent quite a bunch of time talking up their project vehicle. While not really giving everyone a good shake at exposure.

My opinion.

In any case congrats for getting choosen. Perhaps it will lead to better exposure.

Twas the same for Four Wheelers Tough Truck Challenge. Lots of 'what's going to sell magazines' rather than a full open competition. Supposedly, readers got to choose the participants, but rather it was FW that did this. This lasted for several years. Supposedly, this has changed. To what extent, couldn't tell you.

I have same look at the mags video on last years UC. We'll see if it's like it again this year.

pix pix pix pix pix.......get the picture?  no pun intended.

don't forget, air.  Lots of it.  As in lots of daylight between your rig and the ground.

Show these guys what these hamsters can do!
The Zuke is on its way out.  Getting a vehicle that will behave and be supported by the dealer.

Just a heads up, they had a lot of respect for Brian. They were talking to me about him. I got the feeling he made quite an impression.  8)

I'm touched!

Pray that the new dealer can fix my knock.  TOday I called them and he tried to tell me it could be spark plugs.
Bullsh*t!  Iridium plugs don't foul that quickly. Cheap champions maybe, but not these.
This will be interesting.

8) yes they were and i understand certain things can't or shouldn't be translated into magazines and such, someone could clain unfairness, like that whole "you never run my type rig" thing. It would have been nice to see more than one page of pics and stats on everyone (understanding pages being a premium) And a bit more vid time for them too. It definately left me wanting more... But when doesn't it?? And again congrats, represent and have fun.

Thank got I dont have to give my right nut... ::)

Thanks for the offer Hotrod, but sounds like there will be plenty of cameras around. Lets just say they come pretty prepared. I guess it makes sense. Its not like you can just go back a week later and reshoot. :P

You are best bet to take along your own camera and video. I don't think you'll get a copy of anything they take. If you do, it's only a copy and they will have owner rights. You'd be better off taking pics of designs and applications for tips. Mags and videos they sell won't show the details.
I have the all videos of the UA and the TTC. Lots of areas are edited out as the 'editor' didn't think it would be worth to show and sell the video.

You'll be disappointed in what they show in the end of their picture and video taking.

Mike:

I think everyone wants you to take video not only for your benefit, but all of your supporters here at Zukiworld. ;D We really don't want to wait for the low tech world of the Mag to reveal edited events four months later. :P We want to see you kick their a** NOW. ;)

Its against the rules to post any pics or talk about the Adventure untill it hits the news stands.  :-/ Cant blame them, it is thier story.  ::) Im sure I will get some pics, but like I said, its their story.
