so i got out this morning and tried testing my MAF first, hopefully i tested it right i never really used a volt meter before. everything seemed to be correct all the way up to the output pin. with the car on but not started the reading seemed good, but when i started the engine there was no difference in the reading. nor did the reading change when i gave it throttle. so I'm guessing the output on the MAF is failing causing my issues.

so after countless calls around trying to find a MAF at local salvage yards i was out of luck, so i started doing some digging around and some research online i went to the loacl salvage yard and pulled a MAF off a 94 mazda 626. installed it and it runs like a dream. so if your looking for a MAF 93-97 mazda 626 and ford probes same years will fit.
