Well, I finally got it back together last Saturday. I resurected my brother's old press (took a new 20 ton bottle jack). I heated the hub and froze the race and they went together without issue. I built my own socket to tighten the nut. It is without a doubt the sorriest piece of fab work I have ever done, in fact I hid it so that noone could see it but it worked.
My attempt at the 4 door brake conversion failed. The bracket that comes on the fully loaded 4 door caliper was too thick to clear the rotor. The 2 door bracket is probably between an eigth and three sixteenths thinner and fits just fine. I was terribly disapointed but at least I never disconnected the lines from the old calipers so no need to bleed the brakes. It saved me a chunk of change as well. Still very disapointed.
Once again, thanks to all for the advice, you guys rock.
