My 90 doesn't have anything like that, but my 93 Tracker has 2 electric wires going to a funky bracket around the rear axle's pinion snout... Probably a sensor of some kind...

well I am going back to the yard today and will get a better look ....yes I do have a digi but sister is on trip with it :-/

hey digger do you have abs?

I went to a friend at the GM dealership I use to work at and he said it was the ABS pickup

he is the drive line specialist and knows a  lot more than me .....said that he has seen it on some camaro's and older ford trucks

so there we go no locker for me

i am swearing a lot now
