looking really good!  mine looks a little choppy without the bumpers but seeing how easily i've pulled them half off wheeling..  fine the way they are!  also noticed after camping in the rain and feeling the need to have the backdoor open and music playing..  a bunch of water drained into some holes i left open in the back now water is sloshing around the body, it's making it's way out into my carpet as i'm parked on a hill..  we'll see how long it takes to dry this time.... something with water happened last year too....

Eh, sounds harsh but that's the price to play.  Don't get me started on my Ranger. ::)

Any ideas what went?

Did the bumper lift, front was easy but the rear was a pain in the ass!

Just need to trim the fenders and find an extended rear brake flex and she's be ready for some wheelin' .

What did you end up doing for the rear???  I just left the steel sub-bumper off.

The front bumper was a easy, the rear was a bitch.
We ended up covering the fuel tank with a fire blanket and whipping out the plasma cutter for some surgery to allow the bottom of the bumper to snug up (and in) the crash bar across the frame rails. Fabbed up some brackets for the top and used some big self tappers(5/16) across the bottom to attach to the crash bar. Bumper cover fits nice and clean.
Had to hack the front cover for more clearence and the pinch welds in the inner fender are cut off, welded closed and seam sealed. The fender lip closes to the door was trimmed back about an inch and we seperated the inner lip and re-welded with the tig for strength. Just going to gravel gaurd that area and the whole rocker.

I'll take a pic of the transfer case shift, the auto shift lifted up with the body as there was a lot of slack in the shift cable.

I'll take a pic of that too!
The lower joint (looks like a small driveshaft with u joints) was cut and we installed a piece of super thick wall DOM tube then tig welded it.
