225/75R16 Kumho MT's on the stock wheels.  Fit great and only rub the inside front of the wheel wells when turning.

Pretty much.  Just rubs that plastic inner fender thingy up towards the front at the extreme ends of the wheel's turning ability.

Due to financial situations beyond our control a lift is a long ways off but I'm not even concerned about it.  No apparent wear or damage to the fender liner or the tires and it happens every day.

Right now I'm running 225/75/16's with a 2+ inch spacer lift (boondox strut extenders up front and Toyota 4-Runner shocks in the back). I had mild rub on the plastic in front of the front wheel, a few inches in from the fender.... but only on the driver side. I trimmed the plastic (with a pair of good scissors) which is really not a big deal and is completely non-visible. Later I added 1 inch spider trax wheel spacers and then needed to trim a touch more. I was pretty amazed at how much these simple mods did to improve the off-road capability of my GV.

Before any lifting whatsoever, I mean stock struts/shocks, I ran 245/70/16 BFG A/T's for 40K miles.  They'd hit the rear fenders over speed bumps, but I didn't really care.  Oh, and they rubbed the front frame at full-lock.  A saw took care of the plastic fender interference.

Since then, I've gone to 225/75's, and I like it better.  Less wandering on freeway ruts and, in theory, better snow/ice traction.  I also went to KYB's front and rear which eliminated the front tires smacking the liners at full compression and I've not heard a peep from the rear wheel wells.  I did add about 1.5 inches of Jeep TJ spacers to the tops of the rear coils, though it was to counter the 'nose up' look the GV always had, in my eye.  It was worse after the KYB struts as those tweaked the front end enough I had to add adjustable camber bolts to keep tire wear normal.

There is a girl in Singapore who claims to be running 33"-ers on her GV.  I've yet to see pics, though I've asked for 'em.
'99 GV JLX+,manual front hubs,F&R 5.12 'Kick diffs,KYB's all around, tube & fin A/C condenser which shames the OEM one,Jeep TJ spring spacers on rear coils,225/75/16 BFG AT's, Yellow Box,missing lower half of the airbox (sound reasons),set up to tow behind a big diesel motorhome...XL rear axle soon?

I'm also running 225/75-15 and have not experienced any interference problems as of yet.

Ngrover - strut spacers! does your GV have the strut brace in the engine bay?? the bloke that makes the strut spacers for boondox said the ones with this brace need a different spacer and they are in development.......

So don't buy them from Boondox.  I put a set of the BDS Sidekick/Tracker/Escudo strut spacers on our '03 GV last summer.  Worked fine except for their tolerances being a bit loose.  Pics are in my CarDomain site.

LT 245/74R16 MT's. (~31")

I currently run Calmini 2.5" suspension lift and Calmini 3" body lift, totalling 5.5" of lift.

I have the rear bumper cut up, and sans mud flaps and plastic rocker foo-foo.  The front is a Calmini knock-off plate bumper with winch.

I am not easy on my rig.  I run it hard and twist it up like a lime in a Coke, as anyone who's seen me wheel will attest.  I built my Rig for hard core stuff (Helldorado, Poison Spider, etc) and not to mall crawl.  Even with that much lift, I can still rub my tires at full stuff.  In the front, I rub the frame stuffed and turned.  In the rear, not much.

sorry for the delayed reply. I belive I said "strut extenders" in my post above. In any case if you mean to say there is a problem using the strut extenders with the existing suzuki strut brace then that is incorrect. I have no problems running the strut extenders along with the strut brace. You won't even have binding issues. Perhaps you're getting confused with the strut spacer which can't be used with the strut brace.
