I think I'll be ok, the new tire diameter will be at most 1" further out on either side, and there seems to be enough space at the frame with the steering wheel forced over as far as it'll go... maybe there's something different about the hubs or wheel backspacing on the XL7?  I know the front calipers are rather large so the wheel spokes have to be further out

Your front suspension is exactly the same as mine.  Wheels are different design but the same size and backspacing.

I bought wheel spacers on ebay for 20.00$ they are aluminium quarter inch and can fit right on your stock bolts. They work great and give the extra quarter inch of width.

how do the lug nuts fit? do you still have plenty of threads to tighten up? i have thought about using the same thing to get alittle more with, thanks.

Toofaroffroad...

Keep us posted on how well those spacers work out.  About 1/4 inch is all that I would need to clear my tire/frame rubbing.

got the Kumho ATs mounted, good news... no rubbing at full lock, still got a little over an inch of clearance by the frame.  will have to try it on an incline and in reverse to see if there's any issue

also it's close in the rear but it looks like I may get away with not having to trim anything.

the other good news is that these tires are significantly quieter than I expected  :)
