Hi !

After mechanic replaced , timing chain, tenssioners, water pump and valve cover gaskets couple weeks ago , car started having tapping noise under valve cover on passenger side. I think noise is coming under first spark plug.
I took car back to him but he told him he didn't touch anything there and refused to fix it.
Another mechanic told me that lifters are making noise and recomend to change oil with 4 quarts oil 5w30 and 1 quart lucas oil , I replaced spark plugs too. but didn't help tapping is still there . Car is driving good and I can hear tapping only when car is idling. CAN I RUIN ENGINE IF I DRIVE CAR ?
