i have a 1983 sj410 and have a line on a 83 sj with spare engines and transmissions . does anyone know if any of the parts from a sj with 1.3 l engines would be compatible with mine?

Some will, some won't, no one is going to take the time to list them all - if you ask about a specific part, you might be lucky and some one knows the answer.  I could be wrong, but I think the SJ410 has a four speed transmission, whilst the SJ413 is a five speed, and pretty much none of the engine internals will swap.

One of the problems you will face is identifying the vehicles - what market was your SJ410 built for - what SJ413 are you comparing it to, what market was that built for?

Assuming the Ontario in your name indicates that you're in Canada - Suzuki did not officially import the SJ413 into Canada before 1985, the 410 may or may not be have been an official import - the reason I mention this is that different markets had different parts, which just makes the question more difficult to answer.

Yes im in southern Ontario Canada. The 410 that was advertised was an 83 soft top with some spare engines and transmissions which apparently are 5 speed. i was looking for the soft top as a parts vehicle and didnt know if it was worth making an offer on the spare engines and whether or not fuel pumps and alternators and starters would be interchangeable.

I'm missing something - you asked about compatibility between an SJ410 which you have and an SJ with a 1.3 engine, which I assumed was an SJ413 - are you now saying that this second vehicle is an SJ410?

sorry for the mix up. the vehicle is a 410 with a 1 litre engine. there are also 2 spare engines and transmissions which are 1.3 litre engines and 5 speed transmissions

As far as I know, the only reason to have an SJ410 and a 1.3 engine with the matching 5 speed transmission is if you're planning on a "big block" upgrade - you might want to have the engines complete, all accessories, wiring harness, the whole kit & caboodle - 410 (please note I didn't say F10a), used an alternator with an external regulator, the 413 alternator uses an internal regulator, the 410 uses a side draft carburetor, the 413 uses a down draught EFB (Electronic Feedback Carb) so you need the electronic controls and the wiring harness.  I believe the transmission tunnel will need to be "clearanced" to accommodate the 5 speed - it's not difficult as swaps go, but it's also not something that most people might care to get into.
