Front axle shakes
«

My front tires will both shake at random points, even on the highway, and i feel my car vibrating, i have replaced both cv axles and also replaced both wheel hub assemblys, the calipers both are in good shape and dont stick, so my only other thought is something has gone bad in the axle. I did notice when i was replaceing my front passanger cv shaft that when would spin it you could hear a ticking in the axle housing. Any info is very much appreciated

Out of balance tire/wheel assemblies, bent rims, bent tires, ball joints, control arm bushes, steering rack ends, steering rod ends - and for that ticking in the axle housing - there is a bushing/bearing in the back of the spindle.

That's why the rims & tires were first in the list
just swap them front & back, see if the symptoms change.

I owned a set of Coursers a few years ago. A great tire...
except
when I drove interstates. At right around 65-70MPH I would suddenly feel a large vibration. Beyond 70MPH it disappeared completely. At any other speed and at no other time had I ever had any issues with the tire. They still had 80% tread life remaining.
The first time it occurred, I actually stopped my truck (quickly) to see if one of my tires had come loose. The vibration was that bad.
It happened to me on two other occasions with these same tires. Rotating them didn't give me any assurances. I trashed the tires and bought new ones.
