What size tires are you running, or what size would you like to theoretically run with the 6.5 T-case gears? Stock Sami axles are ok to about 33s with light wheeling and an easy big foot (gas)  :D
If you wheel hard, the stockers won't hold the large tires and low T-case gearing. Depending on your ideal tire size, you may think about upgrading the axles to Yotas, or perhaps a set of higher spline count Chromolys.

Was planning on 35s for now and was thinking I could change thw ring and pinion as well a because a friend said that if I went to 6.5 I would more then likely snap stuff just see if any one else has went to 6.5 and changed ring and pinion to keep from doing a yota swap

I run 5.12 axle gears, double tcases, which equates to a crawl ratio of 142:1 with 34" tires. I do run chromoly front axle shafts. The only issue I have had is I broke a rear axle when I was doing something I shouldn't have been (climbing a steep rocky hill and the rear end started bouncing).
A buddy of mine runs 5.38 axle gears, 6.5 tcase gears and 35.5" tires (Q78 swampers). He has front chromoly shafts too. He has broken one rear axle as well.
We have been wheeling for about 12 years and that is the only issues we have had axle wise.
