a new low huh... Is it the color of the tarp? I can get grey or brown if that would make it better. :)

I understand rolling up such a decked out rig like that will bring into question if it meets the Suzuki only requirement. I'll be certain to bring the title with to prove it is in fact a suzuki.

I do believe there will be some "conventional" campers in the bunch that will opt for tents. So pedestrian...

I'm glad you have a sense of humor.  I wasn't sure if I should say anything, but I really was trying to be funny.

Yeah, I have been on camping trips when it was just a tarp on the ground, a sleeping bag and a bit of screen mesh held up by a couple of sticks so the bugs wouldn't eat me alive.  Your Micro RV would cetianly be a step up from that.

On a more serious note: I saw it snowed there last year.  Any chance that will be the same  this year?

Rob

Yep! Keep an eye on the weather. It has snowed 3-4 of my trips out there. Last year was the best though  8)

Last year's snow was awesome.  I'm hoping for the same or more this year!  :)

I would keep the blue tarp.  Blue is my favorite color so if I end up driving out there, I don't have to look at brown or gray. It would be the best unless you can find a camo.   ;)

OK, so what kind of snow do you get out there?  Heavy wet snow or is dry and fluffy?

Definitely a good chance of snow... We go over a 'hill' on the way to camp and I think it's about 100% for snow every year... The camp area itself is probably 65% on average but the farmer's almanac hints toward another cold/snowy winter, right?

I'm betting on snow. Maybe we'll get more than New York. Do you draw straws for who gets to brake trail? With the larger tires on there is no way to fit chains on my rig but it did fine around here when it had street tires on it so should be a blast.
What channel on CB does everyone typically run? I'll be installing mine this weekend.

Hi Derek - glad to see/hear that you're on the road to recovery... I'll be emailing out a itinerary with some basic instructions. Hopefully, it'll answer some of your questions. You did send me an email saying you're going right? Those emails are put into a folder and thats how I know who's going.

:)

I took care of at least one very important pre event task... I upgraded the crappy 4 inch 4 speaker system ( of which only 1 speaker was working) to a rattle your dentures out fully functional 4 inch 4 speaker system. Justin Bieber never sounded so good. :)

And I made my own soon to be patented Droid mount so I can record every movement of whatever rig is in front of me.

if everyone brings a pliers and one wire coat hanger I could lead  a one hour session that will allow everyone to walk away withier very own hand crafted mount.

Can we get a merit badge if we successfully complete the session?
