leaky rocker cover gasket? check you valve lash recently? ... if not, might be time to do so.
I used to be indecisive but now, I'm not so sure.

Oil in the cylinder is usually either bad rings or bad valve seals. I'd do a compression test.

Do you mean there's oil on the top (exterior of the plug), or on the business end?

If it's the top, you have a leaking valve cover gasket. If it's on the electrode you've got other issues, and you're probably seeing a lot of blue smoke. That's rings.

Its on the exterior of the plug

Running very well though, good mileage and no smoke whatsoever

I don't know how conductive oil is but you might be losing some spark to ground.  I'd be more concerned about the wires getting oil on the insulation - quick way to wreck wires - but that is probably not happening here.  Alternatively, if you don't mind a little Exxon emulation, you could just leave it to slowly weep until you do your next valve lash adjustment.
