Kind of a misnomer huh ;) I'm just hoping its gets more air than the stock airbox...I'll find out if there is any difference in fuel economy or power on the drive to work tomorrow.

Why isn't your engine bay all covered in mud?  After going through a few mud puddles I don't think mine will ever look like yours does.  How much was the intake?  My airbox is cracked so I should do what you did.

Man my engine bay is filthy right now....I'll be giving it a good cleaning before the rebuilt engine is installed ;)

The air cleaner was about $60 shipped...I do have a  non-cracked airbox with Calmini filter sitting on the shelf now ;)

Me too. I see it getting nice hot air from the exhaust. My cold air intake is called a snorkel.

In the ricer world it's a Short Ram intake.  :)

Is that dirty for an engine compartment?  I really need to clean mine up then.  ;D

would u be able to measure it for me? like the length befroe the bend and after the bend? what diameter is the pipe?

First impressions:
I haven't had it out on the highway yet so I can't say what any improvments there are over 70km/h (~45mph).

Here goes, throttle response is smoother, revs up quicker (up through 4500rpm anyway). With the engine spinning freer shifting feels smoother as well. It also  makes a great intake roar ;D

Tomorrow I have my 170mi commute so I can let you know if there is any difference in performance and/or fuel mileage.
