My 98 Tracker stock 4dr 5 speed w/ 205/70 X 15 stock tires & I am getting 29.87 MPG in town, but then I drive at 40MPH to & from work 40 miles city streets each day.  Oooo I did remove the rear seat, so I guess that's the .87...LOL
I am sure that will will be history when I go to the 235/70 X 15 larger tires.... but god I love it!!

My stock 90 4wd Sidekick gets 26 mpg in mixed city/highway driving.
35 years of Samurai ownership, and I still have my very first one. :)

Holy Old Thread Batman!  I was reading the thread and saw a post by Natebert.  He's been gone for years!  My trackers got as low as 15 in the winter and as high as 24 in the summer.  All were stock automatics.  My 05 Wrangler sadly has averaged 15 over the last two years I've owned it.
