The fuel pressure regulator has a 1:1 ratio with
manifold pressure, so as boost increases so does
the fuel pressure.
The factory pump is good for about 60 PSI, the
regulator should run at about 40 something, I
don't remember off hand for the 16V engine, The
injectors you are looking at for the non turbo Fords
should be a good size for both idle quality and full
on boost performance
Sounds like you are on your way to a nice build,
keep us posted, and get some 1/4 mile times and
speeds (legal of coarse) for the fun of it. Remember
to use Premium fuel when pushing things hard, you
can get away with regular if you stay out of the throttle
but it's hard to not want to squeeze that skinny pedal
when it's so much fun to do so
