the front third member will fit into the front and rear housing of a samauri, but, only the front(so you have to find 2 fronts)and you have to tear the one you put into the rear apart and put the samuri side gears in to the kick third. i beleive the spline count is different. there are also 2 different gear ratios (actually more , but these two are the most common)4.63 to 1 , and 5.12 to 1 . the 5.12s are in stickshifts and the 4.63s are in automatics. there are other ratios like 4.88 and 5.89 but they were only produced for special years and  i'm not sure on years.
hope that helps

Several vendors sell "cans" that fit around the spider gears on a tracKick to keep them in place.  ($30.00 American) Just a matter of mounting the tracKick front R&P in the sammy carrier.

The rear R&P is much larger.  The only way to re-use it is to buy/build a hybrid Samurai/TracKick rear axle.  The other solution is to latch onto a second 5.12 front R&P and install it with a kit in the rear.

Do a search at the site in my sig, below,  for "third" and find all kinds of juicy info on this topic!
