The front and rear coil springs are different sizes. The rear is taller than the front. But more importantly they are also different RATES. the fronts are much stiffer than the rear. Rear springs are not stiff enough to hold up the front of the tracker since the rear springs are on a solid axle and the front suspension is independent, which increases the leverage against the springs and they have to hold up the engine as well. Whitfield has even tried using XJ coils up front, but they also were not stiff enough to support the front end.
