Hey all,
I posted up a video to youtube of our new tracker with the Trailtough kit. Pardon my video skills but it shows the trucklet flexing pretty well. This was Kestrel's first time driving the geo with the new kit and she loved it.
here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rNhGyL9L_4
(it may take a couple minutes to post, I am uploading from singapore) I kicked the resolution down so the file wouldn't be a monster

yeah it works super well. I have alot of weight in the truck with the full shrockworks bumpers and sliders. (I beat the shit out of the shrockworks stuff and it is really tuff stuff) so my up travel is small. Like 2" so ralling is a bit rough, but that is easily adjusted with some longer springs. The kit uses a standard AFCO spring so you can dial it in to height you want. The TT kit was actually pretty straight forward to put on. It took me about a month and a half of working a couple hours after work and a weekend day each weekend. The axles I got for next to nothing and they were in really bad shape to I have atleast several weeks into just building axles. I have a single car garage which works as a primitive shop and I built it in the driveway. I had help from a local automotive shop with all the welding. I stripped the axles and we burned in all the TT brackets in about 1.5 hrs. I took them home built the truck and then took the truck back to my mechanic for some remaining mild welding and exhaust. We are supper happy with it. This truck is really capable and easy to drive. It's alot of fun to whip shitties in too. I think Kestrel whips shitties every time she gets behind the wheel. (shitties is minesotean for donuts!)

yep Truckhaven, CA. We had a good time out there. Endless flexy notches! Believe it or not we got a bronco stuck in the mud out there... I know I know it's the desert......

I will work on some other videos. Here are some pics to hold you over..

Ramped the sidekick at the HDR.
I lost the cards but they were something like..
1020 forward
1180 backward
anyhow the people running the ramp were all the sudden very interested in my little zuk considering it out ramped most of the jeeps there.

Nice!!! You could always ship it out to Florida so it does not get lonely while your in Singapore.
;D

What size tires and wheels are on there and how do they fit??
-
16" mickey thompson wheels standard backspacing and 305/70 R16 Mickey Thompon Baja MTZ
which is a 33/12.5 R16
no rubbing in the rear. It rubs the shrockworks bumper just slightly on one side. I was jumping it in the desert and managed to catch a fender with the tire which crinkled it but in general very very little rubbing.
In fact my tracker with the Old man emu 2" lift/2" body lift/ hagan widening in the front and 31/11.5 R15 tires with 2.75 backspaced wheels rubbed more. waaaaaay more. It's a great kit and it works really well and I really am happy with it.
