if you have spark and you have fuel, and i assume you have compression, then it should run.
what did you work on when you worked on your timing?
did you remove the distributor?

Timing belt? Hope not. Your sig shows a 16V so that would mean possible engine damage. Probably just pull the valve cover to check to see if you have movement.
Wait.. check your fuse box. My 8v died while I was backing out one day and it ended up being a fuse for the injection system which was like a 15 amp fuse in the fuse box under the dash. I was stumped and embarrassed as I was picking my 2 year old up from the daycare. After refusing a few ride offers I found the issue. My zuk teaches me humility. ???

and. I know you said you have spark but there is also a coil fuse in that box too. Heck, check all the fuses. ;D

i'll check fuses tomorrow.... worked a 14 hour shift today. ..i'll keep ya'll updated. any other suggestions would be great.... i was changing the tensioner.

you can pull the dist cap and turn the key make sure it turns (that means the timing belt is fine) then check your three points f timing setup (crank at 12 o'clock e mark at 12 o'clock and dist at cyl 4) remember counter clock wise (unlike the repair manual tells you) the new tensioner could have slipped, did you run it and then recheck tension?

i'lll check that stuff thanks. i've been workin 14's this week but i'll check it this weekend.

okay everyone i figured it out, it was a redneck engineered fuse.. thanks for the help.

Trackick 16Vs are not interference engines....contrary to what some manuals state.

why are there so many reports of bent valves and head replacements on 16v engines after a timing belt break then?

The car 16Vs are interference engines.....maybe that is what you have heard about. Or the 16V cam bearings (I know it doesn't have actual bearings, but it is where the cam rides on the head....so for lack of a better term...) gets rough and the cam hangs up and that is what breaks the belt, so that is why the head needs to be replaced.
I haven't ever seen, or even heard of, a trackick 16V bending valves. Although I do personally know some people that have checked the trackick 16V engine to see if it is an interference engine, and it is not.......so I am going by info I got from a reliable source.

That's weird because I am sure that most timing belt replacement directions for 16V specify no more than so much turn for either cam or crank with belt removed. I'm not going to experiment with mine either way!
