sorry the other question for the other people in the know is will the toy axles even take that much torque ....in total offroad magazine there was a nissan GQ wich nissan's own back axle is almost as strong as a ford 9" ...this truck was using a 6.5 duramax and b4 they did the upgrades to the engine they had to go to dand 60"s i think they said

The FJ80 axle is pretty much considered a 9", in all technicality.

Plus, it's not just the engine that can put out torque.. it's also the gears. ;)

We were putting almost 900 ft lb of torque into the stock suzuki axle with both the transfercases in low gear, (one with 4.24) and the factory 5.12's. :O

Yeah I know.. 95 hp, and 900 ft lb. :P (we calculated the torque with all the numbers in the truck)

I'm pretty sure the FJ80 axles can handle it.

:)

Remember that torque is the motivating force,
and even tho there might be a 26,000 ft lb output
with the gearing, it would be very difficult to get
that much power to the axles before the truck
starts to move, unless you are totaly stuck in solid
packed sand or trying to pull somebody out, you
would more than likley never reach that torque
output and snap axles, could happen, but I think
you would have to be trying really hard to do it
