Theres an article in the Technical section of the archives. The XL7 3rd can be used but you will have to fabricate a new mounting. The steel diff housing from some V6 and diesel GVs can be used and is a direct replacement. You will need to build your gears into the new housing to get the ratios right and to match your 22 spline driveshafts.

You may as well find 26 spline cv shafts as they will be a bit stronger. Or go with the Toyota CV swap.
Or... You can sell that steel third member to me for my 'Kick :)
