I have bent my strut towers, so a tower brace is a necessity.  Above the engine will be tight but I am running a 2" body lift.

I've got a few ideias in mind:

1. Cut off tower shrouding

2. Form a front and rear reinforcment brace to run from the frame along the strut tower and above.  Use this same braceing to incorperate the mounting for the tower to tower brace. 

3. Weld it to the towers, dial in the correct camber, reinforce it /weld / brace it to the frame.

What other ideias are out their.  I've surfed Ebay a while but I do no find any adjustable braces.  I've gotta jack my towers back out and I'd prefer to keep the bar adjustable. 

Maybe use the strut brace and mounts of a GV and modify if from there?

I had a 97 Sidekick sport brace a few years back and let it get scrapped.   Definatly not a bolt on, but probally a good starting point.   (Kicking my own arse)  :'(

  Trying to use a stock brace sounds like a solid start.If not,you mihjt try to check out some aftermarket adjustable braces for ideas.It shoild not be too difficult except for the possible space constraints.

The old Explorer Pro-Comp 2.5" lift kits had braces...Maybe call Hawk and see if he has a parts kick on the yard with that lift on it

I'd start with a brace from a Sport. You'll need to cut away some of the tower now due to the bodylift and you'll need to cut a section out of the middle as the Sports are wider but that is where you can then create an adjuster.

I built my own from tower to tower across the motor. I think that welding tube from the frame to the tower wont help them from caveing inwards just my .02

   I agree.Running the brace from side to side is really the best way to go.
