Tracker rear seat in a samurai?
« on: March 25, 2009, 08:53:59 AM »
im trying to find a samurai rear seat, i haven't found a new one anywhere, and used they seem to be few and far between, but there are trackers everywhere in junk yards with seats, do they work?

http://carfix.stufftoread.com/

why guess at all.

3rd link on my kick pages.

http://carfix.stufftoread.com/

eee schematics link,   ( nice if you say year of car, why have us guess?)

on the 8v the TPS and Injector is shared. IN ONE CONNECTOR (just look)

if you unplug this conn. it kills the injector (gee you can trace it 6 inches no?)
and if unplugging it does NOT kill injection ,   BAD !
that means the main O-rings on injector are leaking horrible or
injector is leaking
or the ECU drivers are shorted.  ( i have schematics of the actual drivers , I made them) ask.

keyon,no start, look down air horn.   bingo , LEAKING !

BTW: if you pull any (1 at time)
sensor
the ECU will drop to limphome mode, (rich an retarded timing, (FSM))
the CEL will glow, and DTC will store in memory.

i have a vast amount of data  on the 8v.

Especially the EFI electronics.

hope that helps.

I think you meant to post this in the thread about the 8v wiring.  :)

Looking at the seats, the rear hip room listed for the Tracker is 51.4 inches, where the Samurai is listed at 34 inches.  So the Tracker is probably a bit wider.

A trackick rear seat is too wide for a samurai.....you either have to cut and narrow the seat or raise it up above the fenderwells (then it still may be a tight fit).
Tracker and Sidekick parts for sale.....PM me with your wants/needs.

I've heard that the CJ5/7 rear seats work. I haven't researched this as I have a rear seat so I don't know if that is true or not.
