Wont that bleach the carpet? Seems kind of harash for the application  :-\ That would work good with the carpet hung up and just let the grime drip away....

X2 on the brake cleaner.  Test it on a small area first.  I've used it on seats, headliners, and carpet.  It even worked to get a big glob of black bearing grease out of a customers light tan velour seat. (don't ask how it got there :angel:)

Take the carpet out and pressure wash with hot water.

Soak it with dish soap, scrub and suds it up with a little hot water, let stand for a bit, and then pressure wash it.  Use a shop vac, or car wash vacuum to remove excess moisture.  It should dry in a day or less.  You could use your rig as a place to hang and dry it.  ;D

Looking at the dates on this thread, I imagine you've already done something though...hope it worked.
