Need help---gas pump
« on: January 01, 2012, 05:55:33 PM »
I have a old 1989 tracker that i use to snow plow the yard with.
The wires to the gas pump are all rotten and i was wondering if i could plug it direct to the battery with just a little rocker switch in the cabin?
Can the ground be plugged direct to the frame or do i need it to come from the battery to?

Thanks

Yep, you could do this and the ground can go directly to the frame. But then your hot wire could be taken from the ignition fused side of the electrical switch which would eliminate the need for an accessory switch.  ;)
I know the voices aren't real.... but they have some pretty kewl ideas!!! Tux.....  ;-)
